8(a) SOLE SOURCE CONTRACTING

JSSA participates in the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) program. As an 8(a) firm, JSSA can receive sole-source Federal contracts, up to a ceiling of $4.5 million, for goods and services. Such contracts do not have to undergo the normal competitive acquisition process. Instead, JSSA and the Federal agency can negotiate the contract terms.
